( This story is about the popular religion in DWF about how it came into creation. Characters don't have to believe in it. c: )
In the beginning, there was only the spirit of balance. The spirit created a world (Earth) with a blue sky and many living creatures. He also created a heaven called Astrifus, which only kind creatures of the world were allowed to go to so they could be purified and would be Astrids, the guardians of Earth. To go along with heaven and keep balance, The Nox was made. This was the place Daemons, the spirits that had too many sins or had done too many bad things, were sent to.
After creating everything, the spirit of balance watched the creatures but soon decided to split itself in two to keep balance easier. The spirit of balance became Nora, the spirit of goodness, and Obelus, the spirit of evil. The spirits became humans on Earth, soon becoming known as the spirit of light and the spirit of darkness. Over time, Nora and Obelus lost interest in keeping the world's balance as they became more focused on the humans.
Eventually, Nora was loved among the humans enough for Auroranora, the kingdom of light, to be created.
And then, one day, Auroranora was attacked by Obelus and his Night Tribe, claiming to be restoring the balance by doing so. This started a war between Auroranora and the Night Tribe, though the Night Tribe was more violent than the Auroranorans. After a few months, over half of Auroranora's kingdom had been taken over. The people of the kingdom had begun to wonder if there was hope for them at all.
Nora then challenged Obelus to fight in order to protect the humans, saying that the winner would gain the other's territory. Obelus did not hesitate to accept the challenge, only to be surprised by Nora's powers and cunning. Nora ended up having Obelus staggering to his death from her magic attacks. The sky then grew dark.
By killing Obelus, Nora had caused The Nox and the Earth to merge together, and in his last moments Obelus said, "I have brought balance to the world." From then on, all Daemons could roam as spirits on the Earth, continuing their evil ways. Soon it was found reincarnation had been happening, that Daemons and Astrids alike had begun living as mortals again, and it was easy to tell if someone had been reincarnated or not from their childhood.
After Nox and Earth had been merged, both Obelus and Nora disappeared that day and since then, a moon and a sun hang in the sky. It is said Nora took the form of the Sun in order to keep balance on the Earth forever without being distracted and Obelus took the form of the Moon, still keeping balance by controlling the tides and the night, or so the story goes.
The people of Dragon Warrior Forest live on the land that had been charted when Obelus and Nora had been alive; that land is called Dragon Warrior Forest, even though not all of it was forest. It was named this in honor of Obelus and Nora, seeing as the Dragon could be seen as both evil and goodness.
